Product Description

Inspired by the W.B. Yeats poem He wishes for the cloths of Heaven.

W.B. Yeats' poem is a paean to the strength embodied in humility and how love comes wrapped in generosity.

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

This is an original design by artist Nadia Corridan, carved by Adam Grabski and hand poured using pure bronze. Carefully polished, it was then framed at our studio in Kinsale.
